Susanne Thurn is a visual artist living and working in Hamburg, Germany.
Her approach is going back and forth between intuition and contextualising, using the tool of repetition and a constant focus on the line – be it the line drawn with a pencil or the single thread of a piece of textile. Her minimalistic and delicate works explore the relationship between gesture and material, line and body, form and object.
